NEW FACE OF BASEBALL BAT-COMPOSITE BATS

Ever since the great game base ball has been around, there have been so many modifications done in the gears of base ball. The bats have been modified & remodified to make it easier to hold & hit the ball as far as possible.
Now the latest version of modified baseball bat is here & it seems to be popular enough to survive at least a decade or so. So if you are a baseball fan, you better know this new bat well.
The latest bat is called Composite bat. It is lighter & stronger than high grade aluminium. These bats are composed of graphite fiber or aluminium core with graphite lining.
The main advantage of this bat is said to be it’s light weight of the bat. The light weight provides the batters with larger barrels & a large sweet spot to hit the ball. It makes imperfect shots look perfect & gives better result.
The composite bad have been around for more than 10 years now, but baseball association didn’t accept it as it doesn’t make the “ping” sound that we think a good bat should make. But 2008 saw it all changing as finally the baseball community accepted the bat.
There are some specialties of Composite bats that one needs to understand to make thru full use of it. To start with the break-in periods of a Composite bat are longer than that of an alumunium bat. It requires about 150 hits to break in. though at the beginning it might seem that the sound came out of a wooden piece but with proper efforts it will break in to a point where it will make a sound like as if a rifle was shot.
Composite bats need special attention, some tender care and love. & please note that it does not like cold weather that much.
One thing to be kept in mind when you go to market to buy a composite bat. That is, it is the supreme quality & it comes for a high price. But good news is that companies are offering some bats at lower price & hopefully more of it is yet to come.
The Composite bats are a good option for the baseball players of all levels & if you are one of them then go ahead, grab your piece of Composite bat & hit it out of the park.
